hurhur. i admit i have been MIA ing for quite a while? ahh, my break just started!!! that's something to be joyous abt rite? zid's available within a reach of a phonecall (or sms rather). my phone's nt been functioning well lately though. time to get a new one but that idea have been thrown out of the window since well, i am nt THAT rich rite.

settled down really well in school and definitely looking forward to school after the break. well a lot of friends in a tow too i guess.i am nt saying anything but that whole period was a smorgasbord of sleepovers at school, rushing for assestment, mingling arnd with the seniors. woah.

too much for me to digest at one go but nonetheless definitely enjoying it. ahh, ppl, where are u guys during holidays? hahahaha. holla me kays. i am soo fucking free! free! free!

oh and yeah, been hanging out at neny's workplace ALOT. well, we live near each other which makes it covenient to go back home and most importantly, she's my secret accomplice in BITCHING. rite NENY, our all time fav? bahha, plus her cafe that she works in, i love their staff. so friendly and lovely. hahaha, maybe i am just saying this because of the free drinks i get? bahhh, i am nt that CHEAPO.

yeah, a long time i guess. whats new in store for me?
well, good school, enjoyable company of friends, and a semester break to top it all of. this past few days, i have been thinking too much a whole load of stuff. to get started with, i was extremely pissed by the idea of seeing too much ppl dressing indie or fucking VINTAGE as they call it.

WAHHH, INDIE KIDS SEHH.soo unoriginal at all for godsake and to still have the cheek to call themselves individualistic and gg indie just because of it gives them identity? hey darling, u have gt it messed up there. LIKE SERIOUSLY.

whats "OWN IDENTITY" (need me to explain to u in further detail?) when u are just FUCKING FOLLOWING EVERYBODY, lemme REPEAT, EVERYBODY exclaiming that u r into FUCKING INDIE?URGH, oh my, that only explains the so called 'INDIE' CROWD at esplanade every weekend. no puns or hurt intended but yeah, about the INDIVIDUALISTIC approach, u gt it all FUCKED UP.
and why the need to brush off other musics as inferior to ur fucking INDIE music? music's music so why discriminate it? its ur own rite to hate or love other genres but please dont ever brush off other genres. i listen to indie too but i do not go like flashy over it.

i just recovered frm my sorrows and went out shopping at topman. i was looking a top for me to wear to RAHIMAH's performance. actually, i wanted the skinny white jeans but BAHH!!! the FRIGGIN military inspired bohemian shirt was too awfully tempting and ended up getting it.

seriously, i have been wanting to go to this place! for me, its nt soo much so abt the food and drinks but the ambience is right there! a very bohemian place to go with the right jazz band and mood. bern was like "pestering"(in good way rather) to have my coming of age 17 party there. Oh i wld really LOVE too! But food-wise, it's nt that frenly at the pocket and the serving are quite tiny but oh wells, sure they backed it up with the music and decor big time

Woots! Just came back frm the ever LOVELY neighbouring country. Hurhur. For sure, its time for me to deserve a long overdue break. Geez! First stop: Cameron Highlands. The way i see it, it is more or less a sleepy chilly town with the inclusion ofhills being filled with vegetables and luscious blooms, Did i mention FLOWERS?! Yes, it happened that i have a closet crush on them. They lend a far picturesque view to the whole place. Just look at the pics! Its like out frm a jigsaw puzzle scene piece. It was rather chilly there, i have to say, the nearest that i can imagine what north european climate. No need for sebum controlling lotion, no? And i had made a worser blunder..... Havaianas do not settle well with cold weather. Full stop. Lesson learnt.
Braving with my Elsa Schiaperelli "shocking pink" Havaianas and folded jeans, it was rather nice atmosphere. Relaxing? Hell yes! A contrast frm the hustle and bustle of S'pore athough i dont tink i can get used to slowing down my pace. Thanks to S'pore government, i have become a slave to all things fast!

Well, my vintage shades also lend me in the limelight. Attention grabbing, i shld say? My parent joked on the shade looking like those albeit of datins who wore similar type of shades. They nicknamed me Datin Rokiah as my alter ego. Funny ehs? YAR RITE.

I am definitely impressed by the idea of flea marketing. I tell you, this past whole i have been OH-SO-BUSY sourcing out all the flea markets in the WHOLE of SINGAPORE. Oh jeez, the results were rather suprising.

Yeah, singapore has indeed other flea markets beside our oh-so-"fantastique" SUNGEI ROAD! I mean like come on lah, what's a spare old pipe going to do inside my wardrobe?!
I couldnt make sense out of it. Oh wells, Timbre Flea was super Duper awesome.
I practically hauled three necklaces back home and MIND YOU, it was those similar ones to Far East Plaza which i don't get why they need to be ostentious with their pricing! OVERATED PLACE!

after staring into the blank for like only-god-knows minutes (okay, this is getting way too EXAGGERATED but too bad, DRAMA MAMA just runs in my blood), i started to wonder why of my existence.

it seems to me that how peculiarly lost are we in this world. BAM! thats the point! but more importatntly, who are we exactly? thats the essential question bench. or maybe who are you or who am i in an individualistic retrospective.

as i tried to figuring it out, questioning myself along the way 'WHO AM I?', i realized the idea is nt to answer the question but use the question as a guidance in our life.

we can never realized this question because its an on going process in our life. The point here is to start to stand for who you are and defend ur identity. i found us, including myself, losing ourselves in an oceans of worldly delusions and unable to accept ourselves as an individual.

we often find ourselves trying to conform with society norms. its like a battle that we faced everyday but sadly, most of the time,we made our identities as a sacrifice and casualty in the end. just look at the evident examples around. girls dying to be thin as the only those who are waifish or nympish are desirably in demand.

the idea of uneccessary plastic corrections to so called enchance us when the actual fact is to just be another jennifer garners nose or angelina jolies lips. why we are losing this battle?

simply to put it this way, WE ARE LOST AND DELUDED.but how we are going to curb this addiction to mutilate our own signature self? then this is the time where the question of 'who am i?' comes in. start questioning whats your weaknesses and strength of self.

its might be self critical and very fearful to some but this is the way to get hold of ourselves. we all cant be the perfect person on this face of earth. i think in a sense, our flaws are actually major of our self component. FLAWS are what we are mostly made of and we should be appreciative about it..
